This was second festival in attendance. Suly helped us get connected with Festival Colombiano DMV. This festival celebrates music, food, dance, and the people of Colombia. We connected with a lot of people from this great community.

Andres and Suly made this collaboration possible.
We spent a lot of time teaching people the importance of CPR and Naloxone. More and more fentanyl is being mixed into drugs. It’s creating a lot of harm in all communities. One community member told us a story that had changed their lives. It was devastating to hear that her daughter’s best friend passed away from an overdose. She said that if they had naloxone, she could have been saved. We are training all communities on the importance of naloxone which is a life saving medication.
Julio and Antonio training community members on the importance of Naloxone and CPR.
This was one of the most engaging festivals we’ve been to. We had a lot of community interest in all we had to offer. We hope to make a bigger difference with each year we can attend.
Thank you Suly, Andres, and Festival Colombiano DMV!
